The showing forth of compassion, genuine care, and concern for people is high on the agenda of our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ.  In fact, Jesus said that by seeing your "good works" people would "glorify Your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)  What a privilege to do good works in Jesus' Name, and Compassion Ministries at Battle Ground Baptist Church is all about showing Christ-like compassion to people in our community."

The primary focus of Compassion Ministries is to equip and encourage the entire church family to provide necessary goods and services to people in need.  The leaders of this ministry provide information and opportunities for expressions of compassion.

Compassion Ministries functions under the auspices of the Elder Board with the Senior Pastor serving as the liaison.
